  Weekly Update January 5, 2026 1/5 We have gym. 1/6 We have STEM. 1/7 We have a late start.  We have library. Please return all books today. 1/8 We have art. 1/9 We have music.             Happy New Year: I hope everyone had a wonderful vacation and is ready to return to school tomorrow!  Students please remember to bring his or her take home folder, water bottle, and morning snack. Winter Gear: Please help your child enjoy the three outdoor recesses by having your child wear warm clothing each day.  A winter coat, hat, gloves or mittens, snow pants, and boots make it possible to be comfortable and play in the snow. Word Work: Our class will continue to learn about the -cal and -cle word patterns this week as in typical, bicycle, and ​​musical.  Students should read their word lists, discuss the meaning of the words, and practice spelling words with similar syllable patter...

  Weekly Update December 15, 2025 12/15 We have gym. 12/16 We have STEM 12/17 We have a late start.  We have library. Please bring all books. 12/18 We have art. 12/19 We are going to the HS for the music concert from 8:45-10:30             Word Work: Our class will continue to learn about the -ible and -able word patterns this week as in possible, comfortable, and reasonable.  Students should read their word lists, discuss the meaning of the words, and practice spelling words with similar syllable patterns. Holiday Concert: On Friday, December 19th, our 2nd - 5th grades will be attending the holiday concert at the High School. We plan to begin boarding buses at 8:45, please make sure your child arrives at school on time.
