  Weekly Update December 1, 2025 12/1 We have gym. 12/2 We have STEM. 12/3 We have library. Please return all books. 12/4 We have art. 12/5 We have music.               Word Work: Our class will be learning about the -le word patterns this week as in table, turtle, nibble, struggle, several, and general. Students should read their word lists, discuss the meaning of the words, and practice spelling words with similar syllable patterns. Spelling City is ready for students to access the practice list for the week.   Math: Second graders have started Unit 3: Measuring Length. We will have opportunities to measure using inches and centimeters. Students will also relate measurements to using a number line.
